Eyebrow Hair Growth: Why It Grows Slow, and What to Do About It

Do you find that your eyebrow hair growth is slow? You're not alone. Many people experience a slower rate of hair growth, especially in the eyebrows. In this blog post, we will explore the reasons why eyebrow hair growth may be slow, and what you can do to encourage faster growth. We will also discuss some common myths about eyebrow hair growth!

Slow eyebrow hair growth can be frustrating, but there are a few possible reasons why it may be happening. One reason may be that the hair follicles are damaged. This can happen due to over-plucking, waxing, or other forms of hair removal. If the follicles are damaged, they may not be able to produce new hair as quickly.

Another possibility is that your hair growth cycle is slower than average. Everyone's hair has a natural growth cycle, and some people simply have a slower cycle than others.

There are a few things you can do to encourage faster eyebrow hair growth.

One option is to use an eyebrow growth product like The Brow Balm. If you've already started to use a growth product, but still haven't experienced visible growth, here are 4 tips to help you identify if your product is working:

  1. Look for dark follicles. When your eyebrow hair begins to grow, you will notice that your follicles will appear darker. This is a great sign that your anagen phase has begun. This is the 1st and most important phase of your hair growth.
  2. If you have only been applying your product 1 time a day, try to increase it to 2 times a day. Make sure you don't skip your nighttime application.
  3. Check to see if your pre-existing brow hair is longer or fuller. If you can see visible signs of growth in your existing hair, that is a great indication that the product is doing its job. This is also a good indication to check if the areas you're expecting to grow have damaged or lifeless follicles.
  4. Check to see if the follicles in your expected area of growth are still alive. If the area you are expecting growth in is completely bald, has no visible follicles, and has no hair surrounding it, there is a good chance that your follicles are damaged or lifeless.

Another option is to give your eyebrows a break from any type of hair removal. If you normally wax or pluck your eyebrows, try taking a few weeks off to see if that makes a difference. Finally, make sure you are eating a healthy diet, drinking water and getting enough sleep. All of these things can help to encourage faster hair growth.
